When it's time to move crates around, once fully packed you'll need to ensure you have crate handling equipment to help you move crates safely and easily. When it's time to move crates around, once fully packed you'll quickly find that they are heavy and can become quite cumbersome to move around. Not only that, but heavy crates can be dangerous to your health to try and lug around manually!
Smaller moving crates even when full are quite easy to pick up and carry around, however if you're using larger cates with a greater capacity (for example our very large 165 litre moving tote crates) then once full, you might find they are heavy and far more difficult to move around.
We always recommend ensuring you don't overpack your crates. As you go along, stop now and again to check to make sure you can still lift and move them, and remember that our larger crates will definitely require two people to handle, if you're moving them onto a skate or a sack barrow to move around.
Crate handling equipment comes in very handy, particularly if you need to move a lot of crates around or if you'll need to walk some distance between the removal van and your new property or office.
